Report a Claim

Sometimes, things happen that are out of anyone's control. Our Tenant Protection Plan doesn't require a deductible and there's no risk of your insurance rates going up or being rescinded. Filling out a claim has never been easier. When you've experienced a loss at your storage unit, either through theft, property damage, natural disaster, or other circumstances, it's important to follow the simple steps below to submit your claim. If a theft is involved, notify the police and get a copy of the report. Notify the store manager in writing. Create a list of any and all damaged or missing items should be listed with estimated value of each item. Take pictures of the current condition of the damaged items.

Once in our online claim center, simply follow the step-by-instructions to start the claims process. Have the following info ready

  • Name (on the rental agreement)
  • Address
  • Date of incident
  • Contact info
  • Email address
  • Unit number
  • Store location (city, state and street)
  • Police report (if necessary)
  • Itemized list
  • Photos or videos
  • Additional information as required

Once you click "submit," an email will be sent to your inbox with a copy of the claim and the claim number. Please keep it for your records and a claims service member will be in contact within 5 business days.

Of note: You can submit your claim without attachments, but they will need to be mailed to [email protected] along with your name and claim number, before your claim will be processed.

*Customer must be current on monthly rental and tenant protection plan charges, not in delinquent status.
