Store Space in the Empire State

New York State is home to some of the world’s best-known tourist attractions, more than 200 colleges and universities and 22 National Parks, just to name a few of the things that make up the fourth-most populous state in the country. Add to that four of the top 10 cities on Forbes’ 2010 list of America's Best Places To Raise A Family and you can see why Store Space is excited to be in a New York state of mind, as Billy Joel might say.

At Store Space, we strive to give you the best self-storage experience possible. From affordable rates to excellent customer service, to premium features and amenities, Store Space has it all.

We make storing with us affordable by offering some of the lowest rates around. Renting online gives new customers access to our best rates and valuable move-in promotions to keep your out-of-pocket costs low.

We take pride in providing first-class customer service. Whether you’re talking to one of our in-store managers in person or on the phone, know that you’re talking with a friendly, trained professional who can answer all your questions and help ensure you’re getting the right storage unit.

We also want to make sure that you have the tools to manage your account from your computer or smartphone. We offer free online reservations (with no security deposit) and online rentals, including touchless rentals so you can avoid the store and move directly into your unit. We also offer online bill pay, and autopay options using MyAccount

Store Space Self Storage facilities have thoughtful features like fenced perimeters or enclosed buildings and keypad-controlled gated access points, as well as 24/7 digital video cameras. We make sure parking and driveways are well-lit, and interior spaces are controlled by automatic sensors. And our onsite managers walk and audit the facilities daily to ensure everything is in order.

And because we know that self-storage is often temporary, we offer the convenience of month-to-month leases, so you’re never trapped in a long-term contract. This is especially helpful for college students who need storage between semesters, or homeowners who might be remodeling or relocating.

Storage Solutions in New York State

Store Space understands there are many reasons for needing a self-storage facility. Personal storage customers often come to us when moving across town or simply decluttering, or around life events like marriage, childbirth, separation or the passing of a loved one.

Business storage needs are as widely varied. Professional offices might need offsite document storage. Contractors might need tools or materials storage. Stores and manufacturers might need inventory and warehouse space.

We also support our military troops and their families, offering convenient month-to-month leases that accommodate the quick timelines and high travel volume associated with the military. Ask about our 10% discount for active military and veterans!

For so many different reasons, it only makes sense that we have a wide range of storage unit sizes. These typically start with small, 5x5 closet-sized units, include medium room-sized 10x10 units and go all the way up to larger 10x20 garage-sized units. Larger units are often available for use as ad hoc warehouse space.

Because many items that people store are sensitive to temperature changes or high humidity, we offer climate-controlled storage at many of our facilities. By keeping these units between 55- and 80 degrees year-round, damage to furniture, documents, leather, electronics and more can be mitigated.

Often, customers need to access their stored items more frequently, which is where drive-up storage units come in handy. These allow car-side access to storage units, which is especially helpful for contractors who might need to pick up and drop off equipment daily. Another option is indoor storage, which protects visitors from the elements, but is not temperature controlled.

Many of our facilities also offer vehicle parking solutions from motorcycle and car storage, to boats and trailers, even work trucks and RV storage up to 40 ft.

Features and amenities vary by location, so make sure to check specific facilities to view all our offerings.
